GAME DAY — Islanders at Bruins, 7pm

New York Islanders at Boston Bruins, 7:00pm ET
TD Bank Garden — Boston, MA — MSG+

Tonight the Islanders head to Boston for what could be a preview of a first round match up if the standings stay the way they are right now. Boston is at the top of the Northeast Division and second in the conference, while the Islanders sit in seventh (although technically tied for sixth).

Boston played in New Jersey last night and won 5-4, but not before blowing a 4-0 lead to allow the Devils to get as close as 4-3. The Bruins started backup Anton Khudobin — who has actually been playing really well — so you can expect starter Tukka Rask (.928, 1.95) to start tonight.

The Islanders will start Evgeni Nabokov yet again and the defense will remain the same from Tuesday night. Arthur Staple reports that Matt Moulson did not skate this morning, so the forward corps will be a game time decision.

Moulson?? – Tavares – Boyes
Bailey – Nielsen – Okposo
Grabner – Aucoin – McDonald
Joensuu – Cizikas – Martin

Hamonic – MacDonald
Visnovsky – Hickey
Streit – Carkner
