Update, 10:18pm: Mike Fornabaio tweets that Kabanov was “cut in the wrist.”
Sound Tigers’ winger Kirill Kabanov left tonight’s game against Worcester with an injury. Kabanov got into a collision in the corner boards behind the Worcester net and then skated directly to the bench. Darryl Hunt, who covers Worcester for Sharkspage.com, tweets that it is a right hand injury and spectators who saw it said that it looked “serious.”
Kabanov has a right hand injury…spectators that saw the injury say it’s a serious. #WorSharks

It’s tough to tell exactly what happened. Kabanov goes into the corner to check #7, John McCarthy, and ends up tangled up at the feet of #29, Nick Petrecki. The camera then cuts away, so it’s hard to see exactly what happened. If this is indeed serious, it’s horrible for Kabanov and he would be the second Sound Tiger in a week with a serious injury.
