The movies were so popular that Disney even went so far as to create an actual hockey team based on them. Two of the characters in the movies were Fulton Reed and Dean Portman, the team’s enforcers. In D2, they quite literally teamed up on the ice against opponents as the ‘bash brothers’ hitting anything and everything.
In last night’s loss to Buffalo, the Islanders Matt Martin and Cal Clutterbuck had their own Bash Brothers moment during the third period:
