The Islanders have announced that goaltender Kevin Poulin has accepted his qualifying offer and will sign a one-year, two-way contract.
Poulin was an RFA. According to Cap Geek, Poulin’s qualifying offer was $577,500.
Poulin, 23, was 1-3 for the Islanders in four starts this past season and had a .893 save percentage and a 3.02 GAA.
For the Sound Tigers this year, Poulin was 15-14-3 with a GAA of 3.22 and a save percentage of .904.
