Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Islanders, 7:00pm ET
Nassau Coliseum — Uniondale, NY — MSG+, NBCSN, TSN
Game Four at the Coliseum is tonight at 7, and if it’s anything like Sunday, it’s going to be a fricking crazy atmosphere yet again. It’s not a must win game tonight, but a loss would put the Islanders down 3-1 to the best team in the Eastern Conference heading back to Pittsburgh, so yeah, it might as well be.
The Pens could, reportedly, have both James Neal and Brooks Orpik back tonight. Dan Bylsma didn’t reveal his lineup this morning but both players were full participants in the morning skate, meaning they are likely good to go. Orpik skated alongside Paul Martin in their usual defensive pair.
This being the playoffs and all, we don’t have a lot to go on for the Islanders either. Evgeni Nabokov was first off the ice and Arthur Staple didn’t notice anything different at the morning skate, so the Islanders will likely go with the same lineup tonight. But hey, you never know. It’s the playoffs, which apparently require all coaches to be tight-lipped or risk revealing that swap they made in the third defensive pairing that
won’t could shift the balance of the series.
Also, Josh Bailey is out for blood. And by blood I mean wins: “We’re not here to try and hang with them and go home having put up a good fight. We’re here to win.”
