Frank Brown used to refer to him as Gerald Duckdick.

Maybe Wang will offer a partial tear ticket plan.

Now Tavares should be available for the Stanley Cup Finals.

TheFourthPeriod.com: The Sabres have received plenty of interest in Moulson, Ott and goalie Ryan Miller, among others, and GM Tim Murray is trying to determine what route to take.

Moulson has enjoyed his time with the Sabres, but is seemingly awaiting the inevitable.

"I've definitely enjoyed my time here," he told reporters on Monday. "Like I said before, I think this team is going to be good. I think they have the right guys in place that are going to make this team good and the owners are willing to do anything to have a successful team. I've enjoyed my time here. My family's enjoyed our time here. We'll see what happens."

Several teams have expressed an interest in Moulson, including the Los Angeles Kings, Phoenix Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, New Jersey Devils and Anaheim Ducks, among others.

Bob McKenzie (TSN): The New York Islanders are conducting an auction for forward Thomas Vanek and defenceman Andrew McDonald. As many as six teams have inquired on Vanek, and there was at least one serious offer that was rejected by the Islanders. At least seven teams have inquired on McDonald but there have been no firm offers at this point.

Anyone else still wondering why Hamonic played one additional game before the break instead of resting through after getting his 3rd concussion?

 Hopefully Tavares and the doctors are right about this diagnosis.

To everyone saying he should get surgery: I'm sure the doctors who have studied the MRI's are more familiar w/ the specific injury. We don't know the details, but this leads me to believe that the tear is partial.

Staple tweeted JT had same partial tear in left knee at 16. Took 6 weeks to recover.

@dimaio34 PK Subbon or the goalie from Boston?  Of course anyone would love PK, but I have also heard people calling for the goalie.  I wouldn't want to give up much for him as he is still an unknown with potential.

@Lyle Odelein Wish we could hear what that offer was.  I don't doubt the info, but it makes me curious.

Quick is his bro in law, it would probably be a nice landing place for him.

I'll take former Islander Gord Lane.

Jon, are you new to this site?  Everyone here are GMs and Doctors.  We all know what we are talking about so relax.

@Don22 @dimaio34  I assume he's talking about the goalie.  Personally, I would love them to extend a monster offer sheet to PK over the summer.  I know Montreal has some space but I'm sure we could outspend them (cap-wise) and PK is young and he'd be a huge improvement on defense.  Plus he and JT grew up playing together and are apparently good friends.  Improve defense, and keep the superstar happy?  It would be well worth the extra money to obtain him.  I know it is far fetched, especially given our spending history, but given the circumstances, maybe its possible.

Speaking of the Rangers, I met Justin Falk last week on a golf course in Phoenix.

It would be very interesting to spend a few days with a GM as the trade deadline approaches, listening to all the possible deals.

@orange2327- Easy Vic, we should be exemplifying MORE patience in this regime and stop questioning the few bumps in the road.

After all, we have a billion dollar building (minus the basketball configuration, off centered score board, obstructed view seats) that Chuck has negotiated for the FUTURE of the franchise.

We should also be patient with back to back GM's (Mad Mike and Snow) and back to back AHL coaching to develop the Armada of studs being acquired thru the draft from Garth to fortify the rebuild.

You should be more patient like me Vic, just F'ing RELAX, ok? You should go out and buy a Vanek jersey and at least invest in the 2015 season with a suite next to Chuck and Snow.

@dkdk

Wang's so used to robbing people, he finds paying fair market value an outrage.

dkdk
dkdk

His biggest sin was needing market value, or close to it.

It does stink, Moulson produced here and wanted to be here. Cut bait with those guys to go for guys that he have no desire to be here. Good teammate and a nice guy. I hope he winds up on a great team and is very happy.

@Chris R you know Snow is not capable of making a solid trade , why does anyone here expect him to ? He is a backup goalie who should be a goalie coach in the minor leagues or working his way up the front office ladder somewhere.

@ejej @orange2327

I used to call him 'shaky" he did a 2 step dance as the opposition was bearing down on his side over the Blue line.

@dkdk- Hey brother dk!!! Yep first glance of the first round pick. But Ozzy was great in that Leaf's series, and overall during his tenure with the Isles.

That was the first time that DP started to hurt the franchise.

@orange2327- Yeah man, that cheap shot on Peca was huge. Although Ozyy was also huge in that series, MP wore the C and carried the team...Steve Webb was also huge. Roman Hamerlik played well also.

To this day, if Darcy Tucker was on fire, I would NOT p i s s on him..

@orange2327 - Oh yeah! You remember the anthem with all the sparklers?? Weuuuu...!!!

Steve Webb was incredible. He put Darcy Tuker thru the boards in game 4 and 6...the pummeling the Eric Cairns gave Shayne Corson, then skating off to a thundering ovation with the number ONE to the crowd...!!!

@orange2327-  Vic, by far, IMO, the loudest the Coli has ever been. I was in 313, and it was just amazing. When Mark Parrish scored the first Isles goal, man, the barn was shaking! Just coming off the 911 tragedy, everyone had some extra in their vocals!!

@orange2327-He was a baaaaad man! Lavy should of played him more in that nasty Leafs series back in 2001.

Cummings, Webb, and Cairns. Not too bad for taking the bod and dropping the mitts...

@orange2327- Roger Kortko !!

Hey, LOL, before I fry my brain out digging for these names, I'm sure you remember Paul Boutillier? Very much like Mike McEwen, great wheels for a Dman, could fly with the biscuit from his own end, and a very good shot.

Gerald Diduck !!
