DEVILS 1, ISLANDERS 0: PLUS/MINUS Losing Streak Now 14 of 16 Games

– The loss is the Islanders’ 14th in 16 games.

– The Islanders were unable to take advantage of three power plays in the first period. A goal on any of those would have given the game a much different complexion.

– They were also unable to convert a power play with just under six minutes left in the third and were 0-for-4 on the game.

+ Michael Grabner getting breakaways and penalty shots.

– Michael Grabner not converting said breakaways and penalty shots.

+ Al Montoya. His save percentage moves from .926 to .930 after today’s game.
