New Jersey Devils at New York Islanders, 7pm ET
Uniondale, NY — Nassau Coliseum — MSG+
The Islanders are the only team with only one home win in the NHL, and they’ll look to try and change that tonight against the Devils at the Coliseum. After a nice win on Thursday, the Islanders need to continue to get points in the standings. Here’s another opportunity to do so against a local rival.
New Jersey was in action last night, as they beat the Flyers 5-3. That win pushed the Devils to a three-point lead in the Eastern Conference and a 9-2-3 record on the year. They’ve also been on a tear, winning six of their last seven games.
Islander kryptonite Johan Hedberg will get the start in goal again for the Devils. He has allowed only two goals in his last four starts against the Islanders. Hedberg will be opposed in net by Evgeni Nabokov. Lines are as follows:
Moulson – Tavares – Boyes
Bailey – Nielsen – Okposo
Grabner – Aucoin – Ullstrom
Martin – Cizikas – McDonald
MacDonald – Hamonic
Visnovsky – Strait
Streit – Finley
Nabokov
DiPietro
Healthy scratches:
Hickey, Reasoner, Boulton
