New York Islanders at New Jersey Devils, 7:00pm ET
Newark, NJ — Prudcential Center — MSG+2
Tonight the Islanders are in Newark to face the Devils, the first of back-to-back games. It’s another key game in the playoff race, as the tied-for-eighth Islanders face the seventh place Devils, who enjoy a four point advantage. A regulation win would be big as the Isles could leap frog the Rangers and put the Islanders within striking distance of the Devils.
The Islanders will once again start Evgeni Nabokov in net, his 31st start of the year. Radek Martinek will sub in for Matt Carkner and the rest of the lineup will remain the same. Josh Bailey, despite being hit pretty hard by Chris Kunitz on Saturday, will play.
Moulson – Tavares – Boyes
Bailey – Nielsen – Okposo
Grabner – Aucoin – McDonald
Martin – Reasoner – Cizikas
Hamonic – MacDonald
Hickey – Visnovsky
Streit – Martinek
Carkner, Boulton, Lee
