GAME DAY: Islanders at Jets, 8pm

Winnipeg, MB — MTS Centre — MSG+
The Islanders head to Winnipeg today to play the still-in-the-Eastern Conference Winnipeg Jets. With the Knicks and Devils also in action, it’s the first time the Islanders have been pushed to MSG+2 this year, so godspeed in finding the channel on your local provider. Here’s a list, courtesy of MSG Network.
The Jets are likely to be starting a familiar face in goal; former Islander Al Montoya. Montoya was signed to a one-year deal at around half a million over the off-season to backup Ondrej Pavelec. The Jets also signed Pavelec to a five-year, $19.5M deal. A lot of coin for a guy with a career .908 save percentage.
For the Islanders, there will be a few lineup changes. One of which some fans have been pining for for about a week now.
