Justin DiBenedetto signs in Austria, Mark Katic headed to Germany

Two more prospects have left Bridgeport for Europe in search of playing time, guaranteed money in the face of a possible work stoppage (not to mention a lot more money). This is a sign of all the young blood that will be in Bridgeport next year, as some of the older prospects have seen the writing on the wall. If you can’t make it with the 27th best NHL team, the paycheck in Europe is a hell of a lot nicer than the one in the AHL.

DiBo signing was first reported by @nhlfreeagents and score another one for LHH for finding the German report on Katic.
