The team has quickly taken care of inking their top pick from June’s draft. This does not necessarily mean that Reinhart will be on the Island this season. The team still has the option of sending him back to Edmonton to play with the Oil Kings of the WHL. If that happens, Reinhart’s NHL contract would “slide” and not kick in this year.
