TRADE CENTRAL: Bruins acquire Rolston, Mottau from Isles for a pair of minor leaguers; Parenteau, Nabokov stay put

As per TSN’s Darren Dreger (9:26 a.m.), the Islanders are now taking offers on P.A. Parenteau. Goaltender Evgeni Nabokov is still yet not in play, as he still has a no movement clause from the deal negotiated with Detroit last season.

As IPB’s Chris Botta (10:00 a.m.), Nabokov talks on-going, but there will NOT be any contract negotiations today between #Isles and Parenteau.

According to Renaud P Lavoie (10:19 a.m.), Andrei Kostitsyn has learned he’s been traded to Nashville to join his brother Sergei, but is waiting for official word from the Predators and the Canadiens.

Riendeau (age 23), a forward, has three goals and three assists in 18 games for AHL Providence, while Cantin (age 21), a defenseman, has a goal and five assists in 35 games, splitting time in Providence and ECHL Reading.
